I REMEMBER TRAVEL MORE THAN I REMEMBER ANYTHING ELSE

Growing up in California, my most distinct memories are of family camping trips to Baja, Mexico, and getting stranded on a sand bar when the tide came in.  My first ever flight was on a family trip to The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in Hawaii, where one day I fell asleep on a raft & was rescued by a lifeguard before I floated away.  And once accidentally I was left behind at a gas station in the middle of nowhere while  on a 3-week family motorhome trip up the West Coast of North America. I do not recall being afraid in any of these circumstances. I guess you could say I thrive in impromptu adventures.

In College my world expanded to Russia and Europe, highlights included  Leningrad & Moscow in the USSR, the mountain villages and major cities in Italy, Switzerland, and Austria, then Paris and London where I was lucky enough to attend the LIVE-AID Benefit Concert, more on this later.

With a degree in Political Science & Spanish, a curiosity about government in other countries, and the desire to immerse myself in other cultures I began a lengthy career with the airlines. Often traveling alone, I'm always open to locals' advice and invitations. The best stories have come from Fly Fishing in New Zealand, Trekking Northern Thailand, and skiing the Hahnenkamm in Austria. Little did I know this was cementing adventure travel in my repertoire.

Bike Riding, camping, & sailing are the best ways to explore new areas and see much that you never would otherwise. My personal highlights are when I biked the country roads from Bucharest, Romania through Moldova to Odessa in Ukraine, and along the Mediterranean beaches of the French & Italian Riviera. I've spent months sailing in the Sea of Cortez as well as racing & cruising in Hawaii, Mexico, Cuba, The BVI & US Virgin Islands, Annapolis, and all of California.

That LIVE-AID show was the kick-off for a lifetime of traveling the world to see music & theatre. I have been on tour with the Grateful Dead, Paradise Waits & Playing in The Sand in the Riviera Maya enjoyed the big three parties in New Orleans, Lockn' Festival in Virginia, Montreaux Jazz in Switzerland, Plaza Jazz in Havana, the Blue Note Jazz Cruise to the Caribbean, and too many to count music festivals up in Mendocino County.

Being relatively new in this specific business, I enjoy combining my experiential knowledge with the years of agency experience that my colleagues share.

I'd be thrilled to transform your passions into a perfect trip for you.

Coming out of COVID people were so eager to travel. But new strains and flight cancellations created doubt if they'd ever make it to their destination.  It was finally time for Travel Insurance to have the spotlight!  I highly suggest looking into buying Travel Insurance for your trip to cover all prepaid non-refundable expenses. The peace of mind you'll have will elevate your vacation to a higher level.
